Information Security Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance existing information security systems (SIEM, access control, database monitoring).
• Develop and implement processes to improve the overall level of information security within the company.
• Create monitoring dashboards, alerts, and notifications.
• Monitor information security incidents and conduct investigations.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and instructions related to security monitoring.
• Conduct information security risk analysis in projects and design countermeasures to minimize risks.
• Ensure compliance with processes and controls according to international standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOX.
• Conduct awareness campaigns regarding information security for company employees.

Requirements:

• Education: University degree in IT/Information Security or any other IT-related field.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years in the field of information security.
• Language skills: Intermediate English, fluent Ukrainian.

Essential Professional Experience:

• Experience in administering and supporting SIEM systems (Elastic Stack, Splunk).
• Background as a system administrator or DevOps.
• Experience with log collection and analysis using Elastic Beats, Logstash, syslog-ng, rsyslog.
• Strong skills in log analysis, correlation, and visualization using Elastic Stack tools.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, Ruby, Go.
• Knowledge of information security standards and best practices (ISO270xx, CobiT, ITIL).
• Understanding of database architectures such as Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, and their security aspects.
• Experience with DAM technologies (e.g., IBM Guardium) is a plus.
• Knowledge of IP/GSM networking and overall IT processes.
• Good communication skills and the ability to prepare reports.
• Attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn new information.
